Brendan Evans is a larger than life figure at Richmond High School. He has a booming voice, a strong opinion, and some would say a stubbornness that just won’t stop. He has been a staple on his school’s radio and TV productions and is a born sports commentator. He has an opinion on everything and isn’t afraid to share them, yet he is still very pleasant to speak with. He is up to date on current events – even more so on college and professional sports. Overall, Brendan is a talker – a very gifted one.
Brendan often visits the CIS room when he needs a break. Deciding when to share his opinions has been a journey, but taking a break from time to time has helped. There is one opinion Brendan will share anytime, which is that family is important. He is a caring brother and a loving grandson. He checks in on his brother at school and babysits his younger siblings when needed. At first sight Brendan’s forward personality may seem intimidating to some, but inside he has a heart of gold.
Brendan will be graduating in June of 2021 and plans to attend Vincennes University and study Broadcasting and Digital Sport Production. He has dreams of working in the sports world in some capacity. One day, the world we will hear his strong opinions on his own radio or TV show. There is no question as to whether Brendan has the talent to be successful behind a camera or microphone and CIS will be cheering him on until that dream is realized.
